Bates chart work

UPDATE: sorry, all the charts are now gone, and I’ve been a lazy so-an-so and not produced a second DVD yet either. You can still find out more about Bates Method at my website: www.happysight.co.uk

I don’t think you have understood the function of the imagination in seeing. If you didn’t use your imagination and memory when driving, you would not know what you were looking at or what its relationship to your car might be.

what she says is true, what you imagine, you see. That’s why Glaucomapatients (high intraocular pressure destroying the retina) aren’t aware of their defects, your brain (visual cortex) fills in the gaps. But remember, it’s not a way off living, you now learned to imagine a few curves nd openings in a letter, that’s not real visual acuity and if you would do such things in traffic, you could imagine it would be verry dangerous.

imgination letters and real letters overlap in the , yes, imagination, to bridge the two together allows a wonderful ability to make vision microscopically more powerful, and would like to learn about this, for instance, someone take a letter, zoom in and out, in and out, following the zooming, until they can follow it to a tiny size, and post the zoom on youtube!

Thank you FF for noticing! I hate hairdressers as they never do what you want. I would let it grow for ever, but then you get to the point where you try to turn over in bed and you’re lying on your own hair and you can’t move, and you think…. well, YOU probably don’t, but I did…

That’s quite a dramatic hair cut! You went quiet for a long bit and came back all styled to the nines. I mean, I noticed and as a male my observance of these changes is usually rather hindered. Though admittedly, I almost couldn’t figure out what the change was, I was trying to remember if maybe you had glasses before or something.
Incidentally, when looking back for a comparison I noticed the eye charts in the “happy hag gets buzzed” video.

Still looks good, though.. :) I like it! Saw a similar thing in a house down in Kent, and always wanted to replicate it.. but our house has no fireplace.. which is sad, as I have a beautiful wooden ship to go on the mantlepiece.. It’s up in the loft and I have not seen it for nearly 10 years.. It’s wrapped up, but I dread to think what state it is in now.. :(

Hm, would you like it so much if you knew it was made from tiles cunningly stuck on to look like bricks? But it does the job – of framing the telly, haha!

Liked your website too.. refreshingly clutter-free and to the point! :)

I know it is totally irrelevant to this very informative video, but I DO like your fireplace… :)
